Duchessa da nemmeno 6 mesi ed ecco che piccoli (o grossi) errori grammaticali dell'allora commoner Kate vengono al pettine. Colpevole è la lettera di rigraziamento per l'ospitalità a Wimbledon scritta dalla giovane Kate al direttivo dell'All England Club. La missiva è stata esposta al museo del tempi del tennis dopo l'autorizzazione della stessa lady, forse all'oscuro delle sviste.
"Dear Sir. Thank you for your kind hospitality at Wimbledon last week. My friend and I had such a fantastic time and it was great to be able to enjoy the day knowing that we could have a little peace and quite if things got a little too hectic."
"I do hope the end of the tournament runs smoothly and this fantastic weather lasts ’till the end of the week."
